KC Chiang moved to GEABP in 2019 after nearly 20 years with major law firms, most recently Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. A transactional tax attorney, he advises clients on tax aspects of domestic and international capital market transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as formation of onshore and offshore private equity, real estate and hedge funds. He was named a next generation lawyer in international taxation by Legal 500 in 2018.
K.C. explains: “Being a member in ‘Big Law’ certainly has its advantages, but I was also interested in opportunities to play an active role with more fledgling ventures. GEABP’s clients span the gamut of many different sizes and industries, from sophisticated companies doing strategic deals to small start-ups with potential rapid growths. I’ve been fortunate to be part of a team that is experienced and collegial, and since many here have had similar training in large firms, I can also expect work that is of the highest quality and integrity.”
