Golenbock Serves as Legal Advisor to Hawkers Asian Street Food

A Golenbock team, led by partners Eric Tausner and Andrew Peskoe, with substantial contributions from Elizabeth Li and Daniel Cohen, served as legal advisor to Hawkers Asian Street Food in connection with its recent investment from private equity firm Savory Fund.

The Orlando-based casual dining brand, which emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year, secured this partnership to support its growth plans and address remaining financial obligations. Hawkers currently operates 15 locations featuring its popular Southeast Asian street food concept. Hawkers boasts average unit volumes of $4.6 million and was featured last year in NRN’s Top 100 Restaurants Under 100 list based on Technomic data.

The Golenbock team guided Hawkers through the transaction, helping position the brand for its next stage of expansion.  Robert Matz and Michael Weinstein also advised on credit facility matters critical to Hawkers’ success.
