On April 27, 2021, the Small Business Administration (“SBA”) hosted a webinar in which it provided information concerning the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (“RRF”) online application portal, which will open to applicants on Monday, May 3 at Noon Eastern Time. Some of the latest information raises questions and uncertainties with respect to the RRF. Rather than waiting on clarification from the SBA on these issues, we and other professionals generally recommend that interested applicants work to get applications submitted to the best of their ability as soon as possible—particularly given that demand is expected to far exceed the available grant funds.
