Gina E. Nicotera

Gina Nicotera, a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment and Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution groups, represents clients in a wide range of industries on all aspects of employment law matters, including:

• Advising clients on compliance regarding federal, state and local employment laws, including hiring and termination decisions, leave and accommodation requests, sexual harassment, WARN and wage and hour issues
• Litigating individual and class action federal, state and out-of-court disputes involving employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and wages and hours
• Drafting employee handbooks and personnel policies, providing training on harassment and discrimination, conducting workplace investigations, and advising on issues related to collective bargaining and labor disputes
• Negotiating confidentiality agreements, employment agreements, separation agreements, and non-disclosure and restrictive covenant agreements

A seasoned litigator, Gina represents employers in New York State and Federal courts as well as in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, NLRB, DOL, and related state agencies.  When challenged with complex legal issues, Gina brings a passion for developing creative solutions unique to each client’s business needs.
