GEABP Devotes a Day of Service to Feeding Westchester

Since its founding in the 1980s, Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe has maintained a strong commitment to pro bono activities, provided as legal aid as well as community service.  Recently the firm devoted a day of service to Feeding Westchester, a local affiliate of Feeding America, the nationwide network of more than 200 food banks serving every state in the U.S. Every year, Feeding Westchester recovers more than 2.7 million pounds of good, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste.

After a brief orientation, the attorneys of GEABP pitched in, inspecting and sorting over 28 pallets of food (over 11,000 lbs.) recovered from grocery stores and other outlets within the county.  The GEABP team was proud to play a role in this vital effort to distribute nutritious food to local people in need
