About the Hispanic National Bar Association

The HNBA is a not-for-profit, nonpartisan, national membership organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals in the United States and its territories. The HNBA is also committed to advocacy on issues of importance to the Hispanic community living in the United States. While we are proud of our more than four decades of work and accomplishments, we are mindful that our mission is as vital today as it was the day of our founding in 1972. Nationally, the organization is directed by the HNBA Board of Governors, which consists of executive officers (elected by HNBA members), the 19 regional presidents, and the presidents of over 30 affiliate organizations across the country. As the National Voice of the Hispanic Legal Community, the HNBA also has multiple councils, divisions, sections and committees dedicated to advancing the interests of its members, as well as addressing substantive legal issues that impact the Hispanic community and the nation.
