GEABP Community Service – NYC Parks Cleanup

The attorneys from Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe turned out in large numbers July 13th to help revitalize a part of Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.  The weather was challenging – temperatures in the 90s and high humidity – but it did not dampen the spirits of the team, which dug into a project selected by the NYC Parks staff.  By the end of the day, significant areas around one of the park’s rest stations were weeded and mulched.

“We are grateful to the attorneys from Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe for the work they did in Van Cortlandt Park,” stated   Kelly Doyle, Corporate Program Coordinator, for the NYC Partnerships for Parks.  “The Partnership works with NYC Parks and City Parks Foundation to address the needs of communities looking to make their parks more vibrant community assets.  It’s through the generous contributions of time and funding from firms like GEABP that we make significant progress, over the years, in taking care of NYC’s wonderful parks for all to enjoy.”
